Stephen Lampe
Managing Partner, Trader and Principal
Mr. Lampe has over 30 years commodity experience. He began his career in 1980 with J. Aron & Company/Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in their Coffee Division. There he was a proprietary trader handling all their major European accounts. After Goldman, Mr. Lampe went to Commodity Trading Corp., which was a startup company in which he helped build. He ran their proprietary trading book and physical coffee business. After CTC, Mr. Lampe decided to trade his own capital, which he did successfully from 1999-2006. It was at that time that he was asked to join Valhalla Capital Advisors where he traded a proprietary account of $25 million in which he created averaging returns of 8.7%. Mr. Lampe decided to join Atlantic Capital Advisors in 2010 to run a portion of their “Montauk Commodities” program until deciding to join NickJen Capital.
Mr. Lampe graduated with a BS at the University of Vermont.
